LCISD Board Approves High School Boundary Lines

Liberty High School

LCISD is building an additional high school! Liberty High School will open in August of 2023 to Freshmen and Sophomores. Over time, Junior and Senior grade levels will be added. This campus will be classified as a 4A campus, while Lubbock-Cooper High School will stay a 5A campus. There will be additions to Liberty High School over the course of six years to offer the same opportunities as LCHS including fine arts, UIL Academics, and athletics.

Boundary Lines

These boundaries, just approved by the LCISD Board of Trustees, determine which students will be attending Liberty High School and Lubbock-Cooper High School.

We’re excited about these updates with Lubbock, and our schools, that are accommodating to our ever-changing city!
